The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies this weekend with above normal temperatures throughout the area. It’ll be several degrees cooler up on the mountain than the valley with high’s forecast in the upper 70’s and lows in the evening in right around 60. Winds this weekend will be out of the southwest at 10 to 15 mph. Come Sunday, all of this warm weather looks like it will be leading into a monsoonal flow with chances of lightning showers through the week along with a an increase in temps and humidity.
For this weekend’s Moonlight Hike, we will have the Christopher Hawely Rollers both Friday & Saturday night at the Top of the Notch Restaurant. Chris gets the whole crowd involved with his upbeat acoustic music. We will have an early moon this weekend with the meridian passing at around 8:45pm Friday night and 9:30pm Saturday.
The opening weekend of the Battle of the Brews is this Sunday. Come join representatives from some of our foothills’ local breweries for an afternoon on the mountain with some tasty brews and live music. Gabrielle Graves will be playing on the Terrace Stage over looking the canyon.
